Laboratory Services

The St. Francis - Emory Healthcare Laboratory provides services to our inpatient and outpatient populations. The laboratory provides clinical testing 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for inpatient service lines and emergency services.

Outpatient testing (collection) department is open from  8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Patients should present to registration with a written order from their physician, to include specific test/s orders, insurance/billing information, and diagnosis. Once registered, the patient will proceed to the Outpatient Lab (collection) department located on the main hallway near the patient waiting area.

Accredited by the Joint Commission, the Lab is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Physicians are board-certified Clinical and Anatomic Pathologists. Our staff members include certified Clinical Laboratory Scientists, Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Cytologists, and Histotechnologists.
